In a rare public firing, TNA announced tonight they have released Bubba the Love Sponge from his TNA contract.
"Effective immediately, TNA Wrestling has elected to terminate the services of Todd Clem p/k/a Bubba the Love Sponge," said TNA in a statement.
Bubba's firing comes after he confronted former TNA Knockout Awesome Kong on the Cowhead radio show where he called Kong a "fake (expletive)" and a "p---- (expletive)" before asking, "How color blind are you, (expletive)?"
